Marks & Spencer is set to launch a new campaign focused on its Goodmove brand as sales of its sportswear accelerate during the pandemic.

New products will include a front-adjustable sports bra which will cost £ 28. M&S will also offer reflective quilted running jackets for women and orange anoraks for men. Both will sell for £ 55.

WatchShop and Speedo items will be sold alongside the Goodmove brand, while M&S customers will now also be able to purchase Dharma Bums yoga brand items in-store and online.

M & S’s Goodmove line launched in January 2020 and expanded to men’s and children’s clothing in January this year.

It became Marks & Spencer’s largest internal brand, with the retailer now selling 1.6 million of the brand’s sportswear items per year. This includes 5,000 pairs of his “Go Move” leggings per month.

In July, the retailer announced that the sportswear line was available in all of its 254 stores, as it was previously in 194 stores.

Apparel and Home General Manager Richard Price said, “Shaping the future of M&S Clothing means continuing to maximize the strength of our branded product: constantly focusing on everyday style and value, by heroizing the product categories that matter most to our customers and developing our unique private labels.

“Launched just two years ago, Goodmove is today our largest own brand, a credible competitor in the growing sportswear market and a truly relevant offering for our customers.

“With health and wellness being more important to our customers than ever, we are starting 2022 with a bold campaign for Goodmove that highlights both the product’s trust value and important innovations in the range. “
