PORTLAND, Ore.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Columbia Sportswear Company (Nasdaq: COLM) (“CSC”), a leading innovator in active outdoor apparel, footwear, accessories and equipment, announced today that it will expand its capabilities to its distribution center in Robards, Kentucky. CSC plans to invest approximately $4 million in the facility and add more than 175 full-time associate jobs and supervisory opportunities to the community. He received approximately $2.8 million in tax benefits from the State of Kentucky and Henderson County that are expected to be realized over a ten-year period, subject to certain conditions.

The new jobs will offer very competitive rates and benefits and are expected to average around $24 per hour, including benefits.
