Carol Vorderman, 61, looked amazing as she sunbathed at her mood-boosting health retreat in Portugal as she stepped out in form-fitting sportswear and sporty sunglasses

Carol Vorderman says she’s on top of the world in her quest for winter wellness after flying to Portugal for a health retreat.

The 61-year-old presenter was spotted soaking up the scenery sitting in form-fitting gym gear showing off her sensational curves after riding an epic 70 miles over the past week.

She completed her look with a pair of reflective sunglasses and had a baseball cap next to her to keep her in the shade during her walk.

She told her Instagram followers, “I walked 70 miles this week and have now increased it to 12 miles a day…in my favorite trainers.

“Lots of hot tubs and massages too….yessssssssss”.

In another shot, she positioned the camera to show off her slender shape and sleek hair with her face masked.

The self-confessed action woman – who has her own pilot’s license – may have sparked a sales boost by showing off her much-loved, well-worn sneakers.

She added: “Thank you all for helping me out yesterday with links BUT fooled me by the time I got to the link to the identical sneakers (many are similar) they were all sold out..

“Anyway, I’ll wait and try again. Maybe I should try buying next time before I post and create a rush!!! Ha. I’m an idiot.

“Anyway, we’re off again.”

The countdown queen has previously shared her love of the outdoors with her followers and opened up last month about how she struggles due to “lack of sun exposure” – known as seasonal affective disorder ( CAS).

But she appears to be in top form and beaming on camera, gushing over a return to her native Wales, which proved the perfect antidote to boosting her mood.

She said: “I hope you are well my loves. I feel like a new woman. I think I was suffering from this seasonal affective disorder, you know SAD, because of the lack of light because there is no never had light in December.

“Anyway, a few days in Wales, boom! She’s back.”
