In the caption, Spears wrote: “Here I am playing in my new dress!!!! If I ever did a clothing line, it would be like this!!!! When I got to this farm, I took my shoes off and ran… I’ll put shoes on next time!!!!! Pss… I’m the one trying to pose for a photo!!! I tried”
For the ensemble, Spears donned a blue and white floral print dress that featured puff sleeves and a button-up corset that also had a loose, flowy hemline and a neat little bow in the front. The garment also had an off-the-shoulder cut that has a vintage yet elegant feel.
To ground everything, Spears donned a pair of “ugly” brown sandals that incorporated a two-strap silhouette. This isn’t Spears’ first time rocking the sandals trend, and she’s worn them in different colors. The “ugly” sandal trend has grown in popularity over the past year with celebrities like Chrissy Teigen, Tracee Ellis Ross and Katy Perry wearing the styles in dressy or casual outfits.
Throughout her career, Spears has been known as a trailblazer and created her own wave of fashion inspiration in the early years. Recently, Spears filled her Instagram with photos of herself wearing things like edgy mini dresses, loose sportswear and intricate bikinis that all match its laid-back vibe. And when it came to her shoes, she turned to a pair of brown pumps and another pair of fiery red boots that complete her outfit no matter the occasion.
